MEN OF NEHEMIAH CHEMICAL DEPENDENCY CENTER

BWA Architects is working with Men of Nehemiah (MON) in South Dallas on the design of a new residential and program facility that will support recovery, education, and life skills development for men affected by homelessness, substance abuse, and other challenges.

The facility will provide 60 residential beds, private and group counseling spaces, classrooms for vocational training and Bible study, a full-service kitchen, and flexible recreation areas. Spaces are being designed to support structured, military-style routines, leadership development, and community engagement programs.

The building layout will prioritize functionality, safety, and accessibility while accommodating a variety of programmatic needs, enabling MON staff to deliver consistent, high-quality programming and strengthen connections to the surrounding South Dallas community.
