As the Project Coordinator at BWA, Magali Duran brings a wealth of experience and passion for architecture to the Dallas team. She has almost 3 years of experience, primarily focusing on residential architecture with some involvement in commercial projects. Her expertise spans from the schematic phase to obtaining building permits, showcasing her comprehensive understanding of the architectural process.

Magali's journey towards becoming an architect began in her early years, driven by a combination of mathematical aptitude and artistic enjoyment. In high school, she actively pursued opportunities to get closer to architecture, taking BIM classes and participating in an after-school program where she competed in design challenges at both state and nationwide levels. Her first year at UTSA exposed her to the complexities and challenges inherent in the architectural process, affirming her choice of a career in architecture.

Magali holds an undergraduate degree from UTSA and pursued her graduate studies at the University of Texas at Arlington.

Beyond the office, Magali finds joy in spending time with her family, experimenting with new cooking and baking recipes, sovling puzzles, and occasionally revisiting favorite comedy series. Her multifaceted interests reflect her creativity and commitment to finding balance outside of the architectural realm.
