Dallas Studio

After graduating from Stephen F. Austin State University in 1969, Les began his career as a High School agriculture teacher. Soon, he was drafted into the Army and after serving in Viet Nam, he continued his teaching career. While teaching agriculture, he earned an M.S. degree from Tarleton State University. Wanting to pursue a college teaching position, he earned his Ed. D. from Oklahoma State University in 1980. He served as an assistant professor at Texas State University where he taught agriculture mechanics. Les returned to public schools as a school superintendent in 1983 until retiring in 1999.

After his retirement from education, he has served as an educational consultant for school related businesses. He is excited to become a part of the BWA team and being able to team with his old friend, James Morton, and his new associates.

Les and his wife, Jimmie, have been married 54 years and enjoy their two children, five grandchildren and two great-great granddaughters.
