As K-12 Market Leader, Brian Harlan brings more than 35 years of experience in the architectural profession, including the past 28 years dedicated exclusively to the planning and design of educational facilities throughout Texas. His experience encompasses a wide range of project types, including campus renovations, additions, new construction, and replacement campuses for school districts of varying size and complexity.
Over the course of his career, Brian has developed a thorough understanding of the challenges facing Texas school districts, including enrollment growth, budget stewardship, campus security, operational efficiency, and long-term facility planning. He works closely with administrators, staff, and community stakeholders from the earliest planning discussions through construction, helping districts navigate complex projects while keeping their goals, schedules, and budgets at the forefront.
Outside the office, Brian spent 16 years coaching youth baseball, where he enjoyed mentoring young athletes and working with families in his community. That experience gave him a firsthand appreciation for the role schools play beyond the classroom and the lasting impact they have on students and their communities.
Brian brings a client-focused approach to every project, combining decades of K-12 experience with practical planning and thoughtful collaboration to help school districts create learning environments that will serve students, educators, and their communities for years to come.
