INTERACTIVE EDUCATION CHOCOLATE MAKING EXPERIENCE

BWA Architects designed a one-story, 32,652 square foot manufacturing and retail facility for Bedré Fine Chocolate that integrates production, retail, and visitor education into a single, cohesive experience. The facility includes a public retail area showcasing Bedré products alongside an active manufacturing space, separated by full-height glass walls that allow visitors to view the chocolate-making process.

The design incorporates an interactive children’s education area featuring audio-visual components and hands-on activities focused on chocolate production. Architectural materials and building form were selected to complement the adjacent Welcome Center, creating a unified visitor experience across the site.

The facility remains open to the public, providing an accessible and transparent view into the manufacturing process while supporting operational efficiency and retail engagement.
